Meet our team below.
Dr Jan Knight
Practice Principal, Cosmetic Doctor
FRACGP, BSc, MM (Skin cancer), UQ MBBS (Hons)
Dr Jan Knight is a highly experienced and respected Cosmetic Physician and General Practitioner. Dr Knight trained at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney, had a residency at Royal North Shore Hospital, Sydney and has had a surgical assisting role at The Mater Hospital, North Sydney and St Luke’s Hospital, Sydney. In addition to this, she worked with the Royal Flying Doctor Service for more than 20 years.
Dr Knight is a founding fellow of the Cosmetic Physicians of Australisia.
Dr Knight believes that a general practitioner is in a unique and privileged position being let in to patient’s lives and trusted to help them overcome health adversity. Over time, she found a large portion of her practice involved ageing, skin checks and concerns. As a result, she has built a practice centred around these issues. Whilst there is an abundance of incredible technology for treating skin (eg. topicals, injectables, lights and lasers), Dr Knight’s concern has been that the commercialism and the lack of skill of the many businesses that offer these services.
